M.I.A.

I've definitely fallen behind on blogging. But, in my defense- we've been busy: A few Saturdays ago Downtown Kennesaw had their annual "Touch A Truck" so we went with my mom, aunt and cousins to see all the big trucks, emergency vehicles, back hoes, etc.
Maddox loved the garbage truck!
Jackson "drove" the big F-250
...and took a ride on the school bus
Later that week Jackson asked if he could ride with no training wheels....
he contemplated...

and Dad "demonstrated" while Maddox cracked up at the fact!
I planted some pansies and violas:
And then we tore a hole in our ceiling!

then Adam framed it in to two treys...
....and NOW i can fit my GINORMOUS canopy bed in here! (It's pretty much done- we moved all of our furniture back in, but Adam still has to put the crown moulding inside the 2 upper treys. I painted the moulding today so maybe this weekend I'll post pictures of the "mini-makeover")
I did however finish the little dresser that was posted a few weeks back:
It looks exactly as I had pictured it would, and I simply adore it! Whatcha think???

I think magnificent!!! What great pictures. Although again rubbing in the pretty flowers blooming is a little harsh. Someday our flowers will come too. What a job with the ceiling. I'm dreading painting the family room and you cut a hole in your bedroom. Can't you guys move here for awhile. Between gram, me and Mike and Donna we could keep you all busy for a very long time. The boys look great. But Adam does look a little funny on that bike. Did Jackson attain success? Love always.

Maddox looks good behind the wheel of a patrol car; maybe, he'll follow in Uncle Lee's steps?
