A Re-Do and a new gadget!

As you probably already know, when we sold our old bedroom set last summer Adam's dresser was included in the sale....then we bought a new bed and dresser/mirror but have since been down one dresser. Adam hasn't seemed to mind, but I do. SO, this past weekend since I was already on a Craigslist binge I figured I'd see if I could find him anything (because we are also about to re-do our room). And this is what I found! I know it looks rough, but its way better in person I promise, plus it's my latest furniture rehab...I'll be back soon with pictures of it after it's makeover. We've looked at a TON of dressers in the last several months but something about this one I just really loved...so stay tuned! In other news, I got a rice cooker!!! I've been know to screw up rice here lately and have been meaning to get one, and yesterday in Target I stumbled across this one. It was the last one, on clearance, AND has a handy dandy vegetable steamer on top!! What luck!!!!

Can't wait to see you room redo. I swear- you guys redo your entire house every year. haha. I think the new dresser will be great! I got a rice cooker a few months ago and LOVE it. I don't know how I ever made rice without it. Oh wait- I didn't- I always screwed it up. You'll love it!!!

I should have a rice cooker too. I'm the only one I know that can screw up Minute Rice. We do make rice sometimes though, using the microwave. I need you to come here Lauren. We haven't changed our family room for 10 years at least. I need someone with great ideas. Love always.

I love the dresser. I bet it will redo beautifully. All you girls are tempting me to get a rice cooker too. I really like the steamer on top, what a great feature. Thanks again for taking us to the airport. I know how much you hate driving there. Love to all of you!

Having a rice make will make you NEVER go back to cooking it the traditional way. Good for you! Can't wait to see your rehab project. I love the shape of the dresser. Super cute!
