Okay so I finished my curtain panels, picked out paint, and am almost done with the diningroom (that is, if I don't repaint it). Notice in the before picture that not much is done and the walls are boring- since the fabric I chose has a mix of colors; brown, blue, orange, gold- I decided to give the room a "splash of color." (Note: the color on the walls was NOT the color on the paint swatch!) It dried much darker and brighter than I was thinking it would. SO my splash of color turned into a bit of a tidal wave. It looks brighter in the pictures than in real life- it's not quite this neon! I don't want to paint it any shade of blue, golds often turn to mustard or the 60s and brown might be too dark...I don't hate it, but I don't love it-keep it like it is or no?

oh i like it alot! it's fun and different and happy too! i think you should keep it
Wow! It looks like a totally different room! I like it
is it about the same orange color as is in the curtains? i can't really tell, if so i totally think you should keep it. i think if you change anything maybe just a "calmer" tone of the same color, but you said it was brighter in the pic, so my vote is to leave it as is!
I think it has pizazz. Its fun and different and who cares, just enjoy it for awhile and repaint later if it gets to you. Looks great in the picture though.
it reminds me of the old orange carpet/curtains in the church building we went to growing up. Adam will know what I'm talking about. Other than that, I like it :-)
