The new baby!

Because we got a dog that will eventually be kinda big, we needed a large crate- Jackson and Maddox can stand up in it! I think they were more excited than the dog!
Most of you know we have been talking about and looking for a dog to add to the family lately- so Friday night we welcomed home our new addition, Apollo! He's a Blue Great Dane and we're excited to have him! He's 15 weeks old and looks little now, but give him a few months- his dad weighs 190lbs!

Missing Tomatos

Now, just so you know, I don't store my tomatos in tupperware in the cabinet- they normally sit out in a bowl. The other day I went to grab one while I was making lunch and noticed they were missing. Jackson sits on the counter sometimes while I cook and "helps." I guess while I was cooking I missed him reorganizing! After looking for a few minutes, I said forget it and just made lunch without the tomatos, only to find them a few hours later here!

Zoo Atlanta

Friday we I took the boys to the zoo for their first time with Anna and Stratton since they were in town, they wanted to go; so I figured I would take the boys along. Jackson was very concerned with seeing the monkeys- that's all he talked about until we got to see them! Maddox was just aling for the ride as usual just taking it all in! I must say I was disappointed, I hadn't been to our zoo since I was little, but I wasn't very impressed. The boys liked it though, so that's really all that mattered.

One Cute Ham

Just a couple of cute shots of Maddox- he loves to climb up on the bar, and ofcourse he loves to eat. Below he's eating his share of birthday cake from my grandma's birthday back in April.

Pansies

I also finally filled in the area in front of the door that I planned on a month or so ago...with lillies and some other little creeping flowers

But the pansies I posted about back in March had actually all died (we had a freeze)and I was bummed to wake up one morning to them all frozen/dead. Anyhow, I just let it be and figured I'd get to them when school was done, but in the last few weeks surprisingly they've come back bigger and fuller than they were to begin with! (You can't realy tell in this picture)

Our "new" house

Just incase you don't remember what our house looked like when when decided this was the one we were going to buy....here it is back in August BEFORE

And for those of you who thought we were crazy to buy such a dump...I'm happy to say that we finally got it painted (thank goodness, those grays were hideous) and the yard is starting to look a little better, needless to say we aren't done yet, but since the weather has been warmer we've atleast gotten a start! AFTER

The mailbox is blog-worthy because I never took any before pics, but it was overgrown with 6ft. high bushes/weeds and you couldn't even see the mailbox! The gardenia shrubs in the back will be between 3-4 ft tall and fill out eventually:)

Aerosmith...

So I finally changed the music, I was tired of the Beatles...and in honor of the Aerosmith concert we got tickets for in July (!!!) here's a new tune for you!

While we were away...

Well, while we were in UT at Anna's wedding, my mom and grandma kept the boys here...here are a few pictures of what they were up to while we were away:

apparently riding tractors IN the house???
going to the park...

eating ice cream...

and the petting zoo!
*Anyone who wants pictures from the wedding will have to go to Sarah's blog or wait for me to steal some of hers, my camera died at the wedding:(
