OPA!!! Birthday Fun!

So since I was sick for my birthday weekend, and my girlfriend Marcey's birthday is next weekend (the 26th) we decided to all go out this past Saturday night for both of us!! We went to one of our favorite restaurants called Plaka- it's a little Greek place in Atlanta. It's SO fun and has the coolest atmosphere! Everyone does the Greek line dances around the restaurant and throws napkins everywhere shouting "Opa!!" AND you get to dance on the tables! (if they find out it's your birthday the bellydancers come get you and make you get on the table and dance with them) Yep, they have belly dancers! It was so much fun!! Here are some pictures because I know I've told many of you about this place but always forget my camera! Everyone one should go atleast once just to dance on the table!

So-called "snow"

So yesterday and last night it "snowed" here...which was really just freezing cold weather with some slush, but the boys were excited to see it- although it wasn't even enough to really play in. New Year's and Randomness!

Happy New Year to everyone! I'm a little late posting I suppose, but in my defense I've been terribly sick! It started a few days after Christmas and I'm just now getting over it. To say the least I did not feel at all like going out to ring in the new year, plus we had the boys- so we invited two other couples we're friends with and their kiddos over. We had some great food and chatted a while, then after the kids went to bed we played some games and watched the peach drop as we toasted 2010!! Here are some pics of the girls, we didn't get any of the guys or the kids...

Oh yeah- we also started a new project! Here's the current state of our master bathroom- when we moved in we had tiled the floor and got new cabinets and vanities, but waited to do the shower and tub. We went last weekend and picked out the new tile for it; I'm excited to see the outcome! I'll be sure to keep you posted on progress :)
