Anyways, this is what we ended up with...not as bad though once we got it decorated. In the meantime we'll be waiting for Santa!

Well we decided to drive out to the middle of nowhere to cut down our very own Chritmas tree...only we got half way there and Adam realized he forgot his saw! haha!! Luckily they had saws there, as youcan see from the pictures however all of the normal size trees had been picked over and what was left was 20 some-odd feet tall, those trees wouldn't have fit in our yard! We ended up at Home Depot 2x and finally found one that we thought we liked, we got it home and seriously thought they had loaded the wrong tree! It's definatly the smallest tree we've ever had; not height wise it's about 7 1/2 feet but it's skinny little thing. Not to worry though...we'll be the first ones at the tree farm next year for first pick!!!
We took the boys (mainly Jackson,Maddox couldn't really do too much) to Cagle's Dairy Farm "Maize" and Pumpkin Patch... picking the pumpkins was fun; the corn maze on the other hand...not so much. It took forever, we got lost about 6 times and Jackson wouldn't even walk so we got a work out carrying him and pushing Maddox's stroller!!Oh well- atleast we got some good pictures!
I guess when we decided to get new furniture we decided to change the whole room... so for Adam's birthday I bought him a flat panal LCD tv; needless to say he was pretty excited since he never saw it coming. He thought he was getting a watch! It's a 37" HP, the picture is so nice (you can kinda tell in the picture above, Jackson was watching cartoons.) I'm such a good wife aren't I?!?!
Then, once we got the new tv, in preparation for our furniture that was on the way, Adam redid our mantel. If you don't remember what it was before... it was so ugly! It was a really dark piece of cedar wood unsanded and unfinished.I don't know what the builder was thinking when he had that put in originally but it was an eyesore! So my handy husband built us a new pretty one! It looks so much better. I also painted my accent wall behind the loveseat,if you look in the pictures of the furniture. It had a perfectly good coat of a darker brown paint on it, but I felt like the room needed a splash of color. So I repainted it.(call me Sarah!!!) But I'm glad I did because our livingroom is kinda dark, so it definatly brightened things up. Besides we were changing everything else in the room; why not? Anyway with all this new stuff I'm actually starting the like my livingroom!

2 cupcakes for breakfast and blowing out his candles; it took him a few tries but he did it all by himself. Then he opened a few of his presents from me, Adam and Maddox. He is really into Thomas the Tank trains so we got him a train table to play with all of his trains on! But now I am wondering why because the thing is huge! (As if we didn't have enough toys already!) Oh well, as long as he likes it.
