Anyways, this is what we ended up with...not as bad though once we got it decorated. In the meantime we'll be waiting for Santa!

The Griswald's!

Well we decided to drive out to the middle of nowhere to cut down our very own Chritmas tree...only we got half way there and Adam realized he forgot his saw! haha!! Luckily they had saws there, as youcan see from the pictures however all of the normal size trees had been picked over and what was left was 20 some-odd feet tall, those trees wouldn't have fit in our yard! We ended up at Home Depot 2x and finally found one that we thought we liked, we got it home and seriously thought they had loaded the wrong tree! It's definatly the smallest tree we've ever had; not height wise it's about 7 1/2 feet but it's skinny little thing. Not to worry though...we'll be the first ones at the tree farm next year for first pick!!!

Picking Pumkins!

This was a really cute shot of just Jackson...

October 20th

We took the boys (mainly Jackson,Maddox couldn't really do too much) to Cagle's Dairy Farm "Maize" and Pumpkin Patch... picking the pumpkins was fun; the corn maze on the other hand...not so much. It took forever, we got lost about 6 times and Jackson wouldn't even walk so we got a work out carrying him and pushing Maddox's stroller!!Oh well- atleast we got some good pictures!

Opening Presents!!

Jackson's favorite part was definitely opening his presents! Unless ofcourse it was clothes, he didn't think that was fun! He got lots of great stuff; blocks, sprinklers, and ofcourse trains!!

Here Jackson has just blown out his candles, my camera didn't snap it soon enough to catch him in the middle of it, but he did sample the cake before we sang to him. ( as you can see from his lip!)

Jackson's party was on Sept. 30th; since he's into Thomas the Tank right now I found him a Thomas cake. Not just any cake, it was an actual 3-D train! I thought it was pretty cool and hopefully he did too, if not atleast all the adults thought so!

Changes changes...

I guess when we decided to get new furniture we decided to change the whole room... so for Adam's birthday I bought him a flat panal LCD tv; needless to say he was pretty excited since he never saw it coming. He thought he was getting a watch! It's a 37" HP, the picture is so nice (you can kinda tell in the picture above, Jackson was watching cartoons.) I'm such a good wife aren't I?!?!
Then, once we got the new tv, in preparation for our furniture that was on the way, Adam redid our mantel. If you don't remember what it was before... it was so ugly! It was a really dark piece of cedar wood unsanded and unfinished.I don't know what the builder was thinking when he had that put in originally but it was an eyesore! So my handy husband built us a new pretty one! It looks so much better. I also painted my accent wall behind the loveseat,if you look in the pictures of the furniture. It had a perfectly good coat of a darker brown paint on it, but I felt like the room needed a splash of color. So I repainted it.(call me Sarah!!!) But I'm glad I did because our livingroom is kinda dark, so it definatly brightened things up. Besides we were changing everything else in the room; why not? Anyway with all this new stuff I'm actually starting the like my livingroom!

Finally!!!

Our furniture is finally here! We ordered it almost a month ago and it finally came last Tuesday. It was out of stock at the warehouse when we went and picked it out in the showroom,so they told us the first availability would be Sept. 25th so we figured that would be fine, what the heck we've waited 2 years what's another month right? holy cow! it was the longest month ever, but long awaited it was here just in time for Grey's Anatomy season premiere! Perfect timing.

Such cute boys

This was just a sweet shot of them looking at each other... Maddox is getting so big, I can;t believe he is almost 3 months already!

Some recent pics-

Well since it has been a month since I last updated I thought I'd add the most recent pictures... the picture on the left is of Jackson's knee. This was a couple of weeks ago, he tripped and fell running into MaryEllen's house one morning and got his very first scraped up knee! I took pictures because if you we're around the first two days he had it you would have thought he broke his entire leg! All he did was walk around saying "oww boo boo" for 48 hours.Evidently it was a pretty big deal.

Here he has just finished "shaving." That is what the remains are on his face, he was pretty proud to do it just like dad.

Jackson's Birthday

Today was Jackson's birthday! He is 2 years old!!! He began his special day by eating 2 cupcakes for breakfast and blowing out his candles; it took him a few tries but he did it all by himself. Then he opened a few of his presents from me, Adam and Maddox. He is really into Thomas the Tank trains so we got him a train table to play with all of his trains on! But now I am wondering why because the thing is huge! (As if we didn't have enough toys already!) Oh well, as long as he likes it.

Stilts? Yes aparently Adam decided he needed stilts, he's pretty proud of them...what the heck he's going to use them for beats me! He is sort of getting the hang of walking in them, he's been "practicing" so far he has only fallen a couple of times...whatever.That's my husband for ya!!

So we're copying the Wades...

Well, since I've been logging onto Sarah's blog the last few weeks, it finally occured to me that maybe I should create one too, especially now that we have 2 little guys to keep everyone updated on! And it cuts down on emails and keeps the out of town family informed:)
